Vasquez Rocks Fun Hike, February 10, 2007

We had our English Cocker fun hike at Vasquez Rocks in Agua Dulce February 10, 2007 and it was a lot of fun.  We had 14 English Cockers and 2 honorary English Cockers (our 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks that think they’re ECs!)  From the club we had Salli Burch (celebrating her birthday) with Darcy, Nigel & Zoe, Andrea Gladstone with Millie and Louise Southard with her lovely black bitch, Maggie.  Deb Deane was called into work at the last minute, but she was able to meet us at the end of the hike with Riley & Jake, and we all went out to lunch afterwards where Edyie Sawyer joined us.  The rest of the group were my puppy people: Gary & Peggy Eck with Laslo & Bella, Cynthia, Bernard & Emma Rees with Bentley and Linda & Bob Cassidy with Cooper.  We were also joined by one of my regular Tuesday morning hikers, Phil, and his granddaughter Brina and her friend Sage. I brought Maggie, Carson & Carmen, and the 2 Ridgebacks plus Doug & Sam, so I had dogs to share with Brina and Sage. Rika, our new 10 week Ridgeback puppy, ended up sleeping in the back of Louise’s car!

I think that we will definitely be doing this again.  If any of you have any hiking suggestions in your area please let us know!!
